NetVanta 3458 With PoE
If you need a WAN expansion that brings maximum flexibility for future repurposing, a NetVanta 3458 router with Power-over-Ethernet could be a great choice. Like all of ADTRAN's products, the NetVanta 3458 PoE router/switch is future-focused and specifically designed to fill multiple roles.
At heart, it's a two-slot modular access router supporting up to four T1s of bandwidth. It also incorporates a full eight-port Fast Ethernet switch with full PoE support, stateful inspection firewall, and wireless controller. With the optional Enhanced Feature Pack (sold separately) it can also host up to 500 VPN tunnels.
Whether it's part of the backbone of a new remote office, or creating an access layer to a specific department, the NetVanta 3458 PoE will bring more for your money.
