Eaton is the second largest single-phase UPS manufacturer in the world, specialized in enterprise-class solutions. Its EX 3000 RT 2U is a high-performance UPS designed for harsh environment. Its double conversion, On Line UPS technology can ride through long lasting brownout conditions without draining the batteries. EX 3000 RT 2U is packed with high-availability features like an automatic by-pass or hot-swappable batteries. This versatile UPS only uses 2U height in a rack enclosure but can also be used as a tower, and its rotating, backlighted LCD display can be read even in dark areas. Its network manageability is outstanding due to switched outlets to remotely reboot connected equipment or to extend backup time for the most critical servers. The bundled software suite provides a vast array of power management capabilities, like the ability to shutdown multiple servers or to be interfaced with the network even without a Web/SNMP card. EX 3000 RT 2U (formerly marketed under the Eaton Office Protection Systems brand and now part of the Pulsar series) is the solution of choice for enterprise servers.
