MR76
The Cisco Meraki MR76 is a four-radio, cloud-managed 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 access point. Designed for general purpose, next-generation deployments in harsh outdoor locations and industrial indoor conditions, the MR76 offers performance, enterprise-grade security, and intuitive management.
The MR76 provides a maximum of 1.7 Gbps aggregate frame rate with concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios. Enhanced mesh rate selection algorithms boost bridging and connectivity performance between access points.
A dedicated third radio provides real-time WIDS/WIPS with automated RF optimization. In addition, an integrated fourth radio delivers Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning and Beaconing functionality. The MR76 is completely cloud-managed via their simple, yet intuitive, browser-based Dashboard. The dashboard includes a rich feature set without additional cost or complexity.
With a ruggedized enclosure and extended operating temperature range, the MR76 is designed for next-generation deployments. With the combination of cloud management, high performance hardware, multiple radios, and advanced software features, the MR76 makes an outstanding platform for the most demanding of uses—including high-density deployments and bandwidth or performance-intensive applications like voice and high-definition video.
When plugged in, the MR76 automatically connects to the Meraki cloud, downloads its configuration, and joins your network. If firmware updates are required, this is retrieved by the AP and updated automatically. This ensures the network is kept up to date with bug fixes, security updates, and new features.
