Returns
Our team is here to help with any returns or refunds should the need arrive. If you are in need of a return please review our Terms of Sale before starting a return request. These are the same Terms of Sale that you agreed to when you purchased the product. If you feel your return still qualifies for a RMA, please read below. They are just some highlights from our Terms of Sale page.
Standard Return Policies
In order to be eligible for a refund your purchase must meet the following criteria:
- All items require an RMA or Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which can be obtained by calling us directly at (805) 522-9123 or clicking the link below.
- All items must be new, in unopened condition
- All items must be in original packaging, including but not limited to boxes, paperwork, packaging materials, all parts.
- All items must not have been tampered with or have any damage
- RMA number must be written on the return label, or outer carton box, not on the actual product box.
Refunds are only valid on products returned within 30 days of purchase. RMA numbers expire within 30 days of purchase and once RMA number is given for an item that product can not be returned after the RMA expires.
If you do not qualify for an RMA directly from Hummingbird Networks, you may be able to return the item directly to the manufacturer in certain cases. Contact us for more information regarding manufacturer's return policies or see below under Manufacturer's Policies.
Unless otherwise stated returns are subject to a restocking fee, depending on the part. For a more definitive restocking fee contact us directly.
Buyer assumes responsibility for any shipping costs incurred with the return unless the product has been deemed defective by Hummingbird Networks. See below for more information on defective product returns.
Once we receive the returned item and have determined that it meets our return policy we will issue a credit back onto the credit card that was used during the time of purchase. Your return should be processed within 5-7 business days after we have received the item.
Please note: In cases where the item returned does not match the above criteria it will be rejected and sent back to the original purchaser at their expense. By requesting an RMA from Hummingbird Networks you accept the terms and conditions of our return policy and shipment costs. Due to our partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers, we are unable to make exceptions to these policies.
Defective Products
If the item you purchased has been deemed defective you can exchange the unit for the exact same product, unless otherwise agreed upon by Hummingbird Networks. Defective items must be received into our warehouse within 30 days of purchase. Your replacement item and shipping times are dependent on product availability.
Manufacturer Returns (Direct Returns)
Some products we sell are subject to manufacturer’s return policies and may need to be returned directly through the manufacturer. In such cases, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly to arrange a return and will most likely need your date of purchase, serial number, and part number. When you contact us for an RMA request we will direct you to the appropriate department if your item is subject to a direct return with the manufacturer.
Software and License Returns
Any software or license purchase made through Hummingbird Networks are non-returnable once they have been registered to the purchaser unless otherwise agreed upon by Hummingbird Networks.
Return requests are only applicable for items purchased directly from Hummingbird Networks.
