Tripp Lite's B020-U08-19-K NetDirector™ 8-Port Rackmount Console KVM Switch is the smart solution for controlling multiple computers and servers in IT applications. It combines a keyboard, touchpad, 19-inch color LCD, and 8-port KVM switch in a 1U rack drawer for compact storage and easy access without compromising control over connected servers. The heavy-duty enclosure, high-quality LCD, premium connectors and uncomplicated controls ensure trouble-free operation in demanding, high-density IT environments. Dual-rail models allow the LCD to remain open while the keyboard is stored out of the way to avoid blocking rack enclosure doors and data center aisles. The B020-U08-19-K can directly control up to eight servers/computers. It is compatible with both PS/2 and USB computers using included included Tripp Lite P778-Series 6-foot PS/2-USB Combo KVM Cable Kits, and accepts connection of an IP remote access unit (Tripp Lite model B051-000, sold separately) for access to servers/computers via LAN, WAN or Internet. Two USB ports are provided for connection of an external mouse and flash drive. The B020-U08-19-K comes with a 1-year product warranty.

Supports Multiple Platforms
The B020-U08-19-K supports both PS/2 and USB connections using eight included Tripp Lite P778-Series PS/2-USB Combo KVM Cable Kits. Because compatibility is based on common hardware standards rather than system software dependencies, almost any platform can be accommodated. Connect multiple versions of multiple platforms in any combination, including UNIX®, Linux, Windows®, Mac OS® and Solaris™.Simple, Flexible Network Control
The B020-U08-19-K is designed to ease multi-server management in data centers, server rooms and other high-density environments. BIOS-level access allows network administrators to solve complex problems efficiently and restore service before downtime affects productivity. An advanced on screen display (OSD) with high-resolution VGA video (up to 1280 x 1024) provides a graphical user interface with management tools, including custom port labeling, auto-scanning and panel array mode. Select a connected computer using on-console pushbuttons or keyboard hotkey commands. Two LEDs per KVM port indicate when a computer is connected to a KVM port and powered on and when a computer is selected. Two USB ports are provided for connection of an external mouse and flash drive.

Access Servers Anywhere with IP Remote Access Capability
With the addition of an optional IP Remote Access Unit (Tripp Lite model B051-000, sold separately), the B020-U08-19-K provides secure IP remote access to connected servers/computers without requiring additional rack space. IP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations, equipment reboots, and more, to be accomplished from any location using a standard Web browser or multi-platform client software.
