Easy to Set Up and Use
With no software, drivers or external power supply required, the B032-DUA2’s plug-and-play setup gets your application up and running quickly. Simply connect your keyboard, mouse and monitor to the switch’s console ports, then connect the switch’s built-in DVI, USB and audio cables to the appropriate ports on your computers. You can also connect a USB hub, like Tripp Lite’s U222-004-R (sold separately), to the switch’s mouse port to allow sharing of USB peripherals between computers. Once the B032-DUA2 is installed, switching between computers is easy using the unit’s remote port selector, hotkeys or your mouse’s wheel. LEDs on the unit indicate which computer is selected. Power on detection automatically switches to the powered on computer when the other one powers off. Because audio and the B032-DUA2 can be switched independently, you can access one computer while listening to audio from the other.
