Console Cat5 IP KVM Switch is the smart solution for controlling multiple
computers and servers in IT applications. It combines a keyboard, touchpad,
19-inch color LCD and 8-Port KVM switch in a 1U rack drawer for compact storage
and easy access without compromising control over connected servers. The B070-008-19-IP
gives two users (1 local, 1 remote) simultaneous control of up to 8
servers/computers directly. It is compatible with both PS/2 and USB computers
using inexpensive Cat5e/6 patch cables (sold separately). Built-in IP access capability enables
servers/computers to be controlled from any location via LAN, WAN or Internet.

Simple, Flexible Network Management
The B070-008-19-IP is designed to ease multi-server management in data centers, server rooms and other high-density environments. BIOS-level access allows network administrators to solve complex problems efficiently and restore service before downtime affects productivity. An advanced on‑screen display (OSD) with high-resolution VGA video (up to 1366 x 768) provides a graphical user interface with management tools, including custom port labeling, auto-scanning and panel array mode. Users may also select a connected computer using on-console pushbuttons or keyboard hotkey commands. 2 LEDs per KVM port indicate when a computer is connected to a KVM port and powered on and when a computer is selected.

IP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations, equipment reboots and more to be accomplished from any location using a standard Web browser or multi-platform client software.
Supports Multiple Platforms
The B070-008-19-IP supports both PS/2 and USB connections using inexpensive, readily available Cat5e/6 patch cables. Connected computers/servers can be located up to 100 feet from the switch. Because compatibility is based on common hardware standards rather than system software dependencies, almost any platform can be accommodated. Connect multiple versions of multiple platforms in any combination, including Windows® and Linux operating systems.
