The N238-SHC8-TF-1 is essential for future-proofing your Gigabit or 10G applications with more affordable, more flexible 25G and 40G Ethernet Cat8 premise wiring in data center, cloud computing or PoE++ applications. It is compatible with surface-mount boxes and other hardware, such as N082-012-WH.
Connecting PoE devices saves you the expense and effort of purchasing, connecting and installing individual power supplies for each device, such as video conferencing devices, laptops and flat screens, building management devices and more. The UL-compliant N238-SHC8-TF-1 is 4PPoE (PoE++) compatible and IEEE 802.3bt compliant for PoE applications up to 100 watts. It is also specifically designed to prevent spark-gap erosion that degrades the plug and jack contacts over time and can negatively influence data and/or power transmission capabilities.
The fully shielded metal housing blocks disruptive EMI and RFI line noise that can disturb your electronics and inflict hardware damage or data loss. This EMI/RFI filtering also helps your connected components perform better and last longer.
The durable zinc alloy and nickel-plated composition ensures your application is built to last. The 110 IDC module is compatible with 23 - 27 AWG cables and can be installed and uninstalled without tools.
The N238-SHC8-TF-1 is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other GSA federal procurement contracts.
