1.9kW Single-Phase ATS/Switched PDU Provides a Redundant Power Option

Tripp Lite’s PDUMH20ATNET provides all the management features of a switched PDU, plus a redundant 120V power option for single-corded network devices in data centers, network closets, server rooms, computer rooms and other environments requiring network-grade power. This PDU has 16 switched NEMA 5-15/20R outlets and supports mounting in 1U of rack space, on a wall or under a counter.

Typical Applications
  • Provide 120V power for up to 16 devices
  • Simplify rack setups with organized power distribution
  • Remotely monitor and manage power to connected equipment
  • Provide a redundant power option for single-corded network devices

Primary and Secondary Inputs for Power Redundancy

To provide redundant power for network devices, this PDU has dual 12 ft. (3.6 m) input power cords with NEMA L5-20P plugs (5-20P adapters are included) for connection to compatible AC power sources, including separate mains circuits, backup generators and separate utility power grid feeds. Dual inputs also enable fault tolerant, hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system. In a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by a full-time sine wave UPS with zero transfer time, such as a Tripp Lite SmartOnline UPS.

Switches to Secondary Power Source in Milliseconds

Dynamic solid-state automatic transfer switching allows the PDUMH20ATNET to switch to the secondary source within 2–7 milliseconds if the primary source fails or becomes unstable. This ensures your connected equipment operates without interruption. A built-in processor monitors both sources and prevents switching if the secondary source is unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source.

LX Platform Network Interface Provides Remote Monitoring

The LX Platform network interface comes installed in the PDU, providing full remote access for status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It is a Java-free, HTML5-based interface. Optional EnviroSense2 modules (sold separately) add a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities. Protocols supported include HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP.

Offers Individual Outlet Control from Anywhere 24/7

Advanced remote capabilities can help minimize downtime and reduce the frequency of on-site visits to save you time and money. Each outlet can be managed individually for load shedding, load ramping and programming of power-on/power-off sequences. Unused outlets can be disabled to prevent the connection of unauthorized equipment loads. Each outlet has an LED to confirm power on/off status.

Load Meter and Input Source Indicator for Local Monitoring

A digital display reports the total electrical current used by the PDU, allowing you to connect equipment without overloading the unit. An LED illuminates to indicate which source, primary or secondary, is supplying power to the PDU outlets.

2-Year Warranty and Environmentally Responsible Design

The PDUMH20ATNET comes with a 2-year warranty. It’s manufactured in compliance with strict RoHS specifications, reflecting Tripp Lite’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

Complies with TAA for GSA Schedule Purchases
The PDUMH20ATNET is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA) for GSA Schedule purchases.

Digital Power Distribution Unit PDU 16 NEMA 5-15/20R 20A & Web Card

Key Features

  • 120V 20A Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with Auto-Transfer Switch (ATS) and Switched outlets (Agency de-rated to 16A)
  • ATS features provide redundant power for critical network equipment with a single input power cord
  • Switched PDU features enable programmable or real-time control of individual outlets via built-in network interface
  • Visual meter reports output power consumption in amps
  • 16 switched NEMA 5-15/20R outlets; 1U horizontal rackmount form factor; 14.5 in. / 36.8 cm depth
  • Two NEMA L5-20P inputs (includes two 5-20P adapters) connect to separate PRIMARY and SECONDARY inputs
  • ATS normally maintains output sourced from the primary input; As primary input power fails or becomes unstable, the ATS will switch to power equipment from the secondary input until power on the primary input is restored and stable
  • ATS configurations enable hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and redundant UPS protection when each input is connected to a separate UPS system (in a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by an online UPS similar to Tripp Lite SmartOnline)
  • Advanced ATS configurations using separate mains circuits, backup generators and out of phase utility feeds are fully supported
  • On-board processor evaluates power quality on both inputs to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source
  • 2-7 millisecond transfer time between primary and secondary inputs
  • DHCP/Manual configuration support; Supports HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, Telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP, NTP protocols
  • Compatible with optional ENVIROSENSE temperature monitor
  • Outlets are factory programmed for sequential turn-on at 250 millisecond intervals as the PDU is first energized
  • Front panel LEDs confirm power availability on primary / secondary inputs and each output receptacle
  • TAA Compliant Version Available - Order Tripp Lite PDUMH20ATNETAA
