Simply plug the USB Hub into the USB "A" port on the computer, plug in four peripherals into the hub, and run the Cat5e/Cat6 cable length of your choice, up to 150ft, to the remote device (i.e., printer). An included AC Adapter supplies power to the USB remote unit ( USB 1.1 compliant). No drivers or software required...completely plug-and-play.
