All UniFi video cameras allow for power over Ethernet, absolutely minimizing your wiring needs while keeping a constant connection to your network. Select models feature built-in microphones for audio capture, along with infrared lenses for full functionality at any time of day or night. Motion detection capabilities can be enabled to alert you to any suspicious activity.
They are controlled with the simple-to-use UniFi Video software package, allowing live connections locally or remotely. You can observe the cameras at any time from anywhere, as well as accessing a wealth of statistics and information about your camera setup.
Not required - but heavily recommended - is the UniFi NVR, a dedicated low-power plug-and-play device that captures all footage on its 500GB hard drive. Depending on frame-rate settings, it can hold approximately 400 hours of 720p footage at any one time, or send the footage across the network for backup.
